  • ETFCU has been ranked #1 in the state of Indiana as the “Best Performing Credit Union” in 2016.
  • ETFCU has been ranked #27 nationally for “Best Performing Credit Union” in 2016.

Congratulations to our friends at ETFCU!

The Redmond Company has designed and built the Credit Union’s new 83,915-square foot administration building in Evansville, Indiana. This project is expected to be completed in Fall 2017.

President’s Safety Award

Associated General Contractor's Safety Award

The Redmond Company has won a President’s Safety Excellence Award presented by The Milwaukee Construction Industry Safety Council and Associated General Contractors of Greater Milwaukee in recognition of achievement in accident prevention.

This award is given to the “best of the best”. Contractors are divided up by size and association affiliation. Those that rise to the top are recognized with this award.

“Best New Development” Award

The Redmond Company is pleased to be one of The Business Journal’s Real Estate Award recipients. Johnson Bank in Brookfield, WI, a LEED accredited construction project, was awarded second place in the “Best New Development–Office” category.

Projects were considered based on their impact on the Southeastern Wisconsin community, and if they were financially successful. A panel of The Business Journal editors and judges from the real estate and architecture communities reviewed the fifty initial nominations, and decided on eleven first place winners and six second place winners in twelve categories.

Mayor’s Community Enhancement Award

The Redmond Company’s recent branch for Port Washington State Bank, located in Cedarburg, WI, has won the Mayor’s Community Enhancement Award. This award is given to those projects that add charm and beauty to the City through remodeling and renovation of area buildings.

“We selected The Redmond Company based on a great past experience we had with them on a ground-up facility. Everyone from the design team to the construction crews at Redmond was very sensitive to our needs on this renovation/addition and as a result, we had no interruption in business. Both the Bank and the community couldn’t be more proud of the finished facility. Walgreens Win Mayor’s Design Awards

The Redmond Company is proud to announce that two of its Walgreens construction projects (27th Street and National Avenue, and Oakland Avenue and Locust Street) have won Mayor’s Urban Design Awards.

The Walgreens Oakland location won in the category of “Best Face Forward,” and the 27th Street location won in the category of “Plays Well With Others”. Awards are given to buildings with unique and innovative designs that complement the diversity of Milwaukee’s neighborhoods and enhance the City’s image.

Both locations were designed by The Albion Group. Brian Cummings, owner of MRED-Cummings, was the developer for the 27th and National location and a co-developer for the Oakland location with owner Ted Balistreri. The awards ceremony was held at UW-Milwaukee’s School of Architecture and Urban Planning.

UFCU branch honored with Builders Association Award

The recently-completed United Federal Credit Union branch in St. Joseph, Michigan was selected as a project recipient of a Excellence in Construction Award for the Roofing Category. This award is presented by the Michiana Builders Association.

The branch was specifically recognized for its architectural sheet metal roof. The subcontractor that installed the roof for this project was Dudeck Roofing & Sheet Metal, Inc.

Steve Schowalter named ‘Banker of the Year’

Congratulations to Steve Schowalter, President/CEO of Port Washington State Bank, who was recently named the Wisconsin Bankers Association‘s “Banker of the Year”.

During his tenure as the bank’s leader, Port Washington State Bank has grown from $90 million to $501 million in assets. Steve was recognized for this growth and for instilling a deep sense of community commitment in bank staff, leading by example through charitable donations of both time and funds.

The Redmond Company is honored to have recently worked with Steve during the design and construction of the renovations at Port Washington State Bank’s Cedarburg branch.

Midland States Bank Innovative Solutions Award

The Redmond Company has won the BankNews Innovative Solutions Award for ‘Best Architectural/Equipment Solution’.

More than 1,800 BankNews readers cast votes in the Innovative Solutions Award, which featured 50 entries. The Redmond Company was honored for maximizing operational performance of its aesthetically-pleasing LEED-certified building design for Midland States Bank.
