Town Bank Downtown Milwaukee Corporate Center

The Redmond Company has been selected to design and build the Town Bank Downtown Milwaukee Corporate Center. This high-end, prestigious project was awarded by Town Bank and its parent company, Rosemont Illinois-based Wintrust Financial Corporation. Town Bank has more than 20 branches in Wisconsin and is the sixth-largest bank based in the state. This is the second project in a year that Town Bank has awarded to Redmond. The first was the design and construction of the new Racine branch, which will be completed in Mid-2018. For the downtown Milwaukee branch, Redmond will build-out the first and second floors of an existing office building at 731 North Jackson Street, Milwaukee. The renovation will total 19,000 square feet. The first floor of the building includes a fully remodeled atrium with a 2-story feature wall to brand the bank’s space.  This all-glass structural vestibule was incorporated into the design to allow for the private entrance the bank desired, while still offering open views into the 2-story atrium for all visitors in the 9-story office building. Additional features of the new branch are sliding glass entrance doors that offer views from the atrium into the office areas and conference room, providing an open feel for the office space.  The exterior windows in the private offices are also being widened to offer more expansive views and to allow daylight to penetrate further into the space. Technology features include a high-tech training room with a bar for entertaining, a large conference room with video conferencing, and collaborative media table areas for impromptu meetings. This fast-track project is expected to be completed in July 2018.

State Bank of Waterloo

Located in Columbia, Illinois, the State Bank of Waterloo sought the services of The Redmond Company to build a new bank branch for their growing organization. Totaling 4,300 square feet, this single story branch will incorporate a clerestory into the design to provide ample daylighting to the facility an Essential Design Element called Daylight Harvesting. It is used, along with exterior views, to keep employees engaged and focused while also increasing productivity and inspiration. Other branch features: Instead of a traditional teller line, the bank’s interior will utilize a modern cash bar design to provide superior service to its customers. The open concept design will offer expansive view of the interior, allowing full view of the integrated marketing graphics and interactive areas to be unobstructed. Situated on a challenging site with four-sides of architectural requirements, Redmond’s team carefully devised a site plan to maximize the bank’s visibility on the property while maintaining a good traffic flow for customers. UFCU Ireland Road

UFCU Ireland Road rendering Modeled after the design of United Federal Credit Union’s Fletcher location, this 6,500-square foot branch facility will be located on Ireland Road in South Bend, Indiana. The Fletcher location was the first implementation of the prototype model which was created by the financial design experts at The Redmond Company. By implementing this prototype design at each new location as they grow their organization through their branch deployment process, UFCU has been able to dramatically reduce their costs and maximize their budget. Rather than re-design a new building for each new site, the team utilizes the same basic concept and makes modifications to the building size as needed to appropriately fit the site’s size, topography, and access points. Additionally, depending on zoning requirements and municipal regulations, modifications can be made to the exterior facade, if needed, to meet any architectural guidelines required by the community. The Ireland Road location will be a brand-new ground up branch following the prototype design. The Redmond Company is honored to have been selected for more than 20 projects for UFCU. We look forward to continuing our relationship on many additional projects in the coming years. UFCU Projects by The Redmond Company:

Veridian Credit Union – Legacy Branch

Veridian Credit Union 144th & Center in Omaha, Nebraska exterior rendering Veridian Credit Union utilized the real estate consulting services in selecting the site on 170th & Center in Omaha, Nebraska for their newest branch location. For this particular site, a parking lot parcel was acquired and the new branch, which follows Veridian’s prototype design, will be built. The prototype, designed by Redmond, will be tweaked slightly to fit within the parameters of the new site and as needed to meet municipal requirements. However, because the branch will be similar in design and materials to the other branches, Veridian Credit Union will experience a drastic savings because there is no need to repeatedly design the branch from square one. The Redmond Company will also be performing the construction of this building which is estimated to be completed in May 2018.

Fields Jaguar Land Rover Volvo Waukesha

Fields Jaguar Land Rover Volvo Waukesha exterior rendering After completing a successful project for the Fields Jaguar Land Rover Volvo team previously at their Madison location, the Fields automotive team selected The Redmond Company to design and build a new Volvo-mandated showroom and renovate their existing Jaguar Land Rover showroom at their Waukesha, Wisconsin dealership. With their current facility optimally positioned on a high-traffic road, they elected to buy the adjacent property to expand its facilities and parking lot. The existing facility, which featured all three of their brands in one showroom, is being renovated to showcase only Jaguar and Land Rover products. By utilizing the existing showroom facilities, the Redmond design team worked around multiple structural support columns in order to save the Fields Auto Group money and not completely demolish and rebuild the existing showroom. An additional challenge of the project is the site itself. There are significant grade changes in the site – there is nearly a 15-foot difference between the site’s main access point and the existing showroom. The 12,000-square foot renovation of the existing Jaguar Land Rover showroom will finish in Fall 2018. Build on the new, adjacent property is the Volvo showroom, along with a Volvo reception area, offices, lounge, and custom coffee bar. The new 9,000-square foot Volvo showroom was completed Spring 2018. Photos of the completed Volvo facility are available here: Fields Volvo Waukesha Showroom Also currently in design is the new Fields Jaguar Land Rover facility in Madison, Wisconsin.

Ettleson Hyundai

Ettleson Hyundai rendering The owners at Ettleson Hyundai in Countryside, Illinois were given a vacant 3-acre plot of land owned by the city with a promise to reinvigorate the area with the development of a new car dealership. After a successful design/build project on their Cadillac Buick GMC store in Hodgkins, Illinois, the Ettleson team again selected the Redmond team to design and build their new Hyundai/Genesis store. Currently in the design phase, the 25,500-square foot Global Dealership Space Identity (GDSI)-compliant facility will follow Hyundai/Genesis design specifications. This will include a unique architectural design concept which incorporates textural elements meant to emulate the sky and trees. The open and airy showroom will be based around three design elements – Landscape, Vertical Green and Shaped Sky. There will also be a specific space for Hyundai’s new-to-the-U.S. luxury brand, Genesis, in the Genesis Studio. In this showroom, customers will be able to explore and touch the options available for their new vehicle’s custom interior and exterior. To maximize parking on the site, Redmond’s design team will be utilizing an underground detention system which will collect the site’s run-off water into large pipes buried under the facility. Gradually, this water will be released into the city’s sewer so as not to overwhelm the system during high-volume storms. Additionally, the Redmond team will be pursuing city approval for paving setbacks reductions to further maximize the parking on the site. The project is scheduled to be completed in early 2018.
