Title Project Engineer

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Assist the Project Managers in administration of the project from inception through closeout
  • Assist in procuring subcontractor bids and site walkthroughs
  • Assist in subcontractor buy-out, qualification, selection, and contract creation
  • Be stationed at the project site or otherwise as deemed necessary by the Project Manager
  • Maintain and follow-up of all project related correspondence
  • Prepare, monitor, and update project schedule in collaboration with Project Manager and Superintendent
  • Review shop drawings, samples, catalog data in accordance with plans and specifications, scope, installation procedure, site consideration, and coordination between trades
  • Prepare, review, expedite, and monitor logs for tracking submittals, RFIs, contract documents, change orders, and subcontractor applications for payment
  • Assist in the weekly job meetings and generation and distribution of all meeting minutes
  • Assist in the project close­out process, including the punch list, collection of closeout documentation, and submitting the close out package to the Owner

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • (4) year college degree (engineering, construction management)
  • Willingness to travel and be stationed at jobsite at least 50% of the time
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Willingness to work as a team member in a high pace environment

Title Construction Superintendent
Job Information

We believe our staff is the key to our success therefore we are looking to hire technically competent, creative problem solvers, and highly motivated individuals. We are a mid-sized company delivering our clients their visions in a big way. It is imperative that our staff work as a team in a client-focused environment.

Our Traveling Superintendents work on projects generally throughout the Midwest and South Central United States. A Traveling Superintendent must have 10+ years of experience as a construction superintendent, ability to handle projects based primarily in a negotiated format, understanding of job QC and scheduling, and is OSHA certified. All of our Traveling Superintendents need to be able to put forth a collaborative effort in the design/build process and must show they are leaders, detail-oriented, organized, excellent communicators, and gives direction well.

This position is direct hire and permanent full time. Between jobs, our Traveling Superintendents are often brought into our principal Waukesha, WI office to help our Project Managers.
