A design focused project to update the look and feel of Municipal Bank’s main office while reconfiguring the floorplan to increase operational efficiencies and address decades of deferred maintenance.
The Municipal Bank branch in Bourbonnais, Illinois, was in desperate need of a renovation. In 40 years, the facility had never been renovated. The bank wanted to freshen up the look and feel of the space, reconfigure their floorplan to increase operational efficiencies and accommodate growth, while also addressing decades of deferred maintenance.
The newly designed space will give the bank a fresh look to compete with rival banks in the area, while keeping the “traditional bank look” that they and their customer’s desire. The updated floor plan will accommodate additional staff in a more efficient layout, giving them the ability to better service customers.
The phasing of the renovation was also taken into careful consideration because the bank will remain open to customers during construction. In the end, Redmond’s design/build perspective, knowledge and experience saved the client considerable time and money.
Construction is expected to start in Fall 2021.
