Responsibilities and Requirements:
– Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in administration of the project from inception through closeout
– Assist in procuring subcontractor bids and site walkthroughs
– Assist in subcontractor buy-out, qualification, selection, and contract creation
– Maintain and follow-up of all project related correspondence
– Prepare, monitor, and update project schedule in collaboration with Project Manager and Superintendent
– Review shop drawings, samples, catalog data in accordance with plans and specifications, scope, installation procedure, site consideration, and coordination between trades
– Prepare, review, expedite, and monitor logs for tracking submittals, RFIs, contract documents, change orders, and subcontractor applications for payment
– Assist in the weekly job meetings and generation and distribution of all meeting minutes
– Assist in the project closeout process, including the punch list, collection of closeout documentation, and submitting the close out package to the Owner

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:
– All experience levels in commercial building construction performing duties similar to this position’s requirements
– (4) year college degree (engineering, construction management)
– Assigned to either our principle office or to the Project Site depending on project requirements
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
– Willingness to work as a team member in a high pace environment
