Redmond has been selected as the Design/Build partner for the new Jaguar Land Rover dealership in Hinsdale, IL. The owner, J & L Hinsdale LLC, is expanding their brand from Land Rover to include Jaguar and purchased the property directly next to their current location to accommodate the expanding business and to update the facility to reflect the manufacturer’s standards. Working with local communities and being attentive to all stakeholders concerns is key on projects, and this project is no exception. A concern for the adjacent neighbors was the potential for additional noise with a larger dealership. Teaming closely with the owner, Redmond worked through the challenges of the local neighborhood meetings and designed into this project an attractive 8’ high stone wall and landscaping which will reduce noise and add an upgraded image that a fence would just not provide. The extensive neighborhood meetings did cause a three month project delay and the time needed to be made up. To accomplish this, Redmond split-up the bid package into two and timed the submission of the drawings for permit approval with the announcement of the local approvals. Once the Village of Hinsdale approves the project, construction of the dealership can begin within days. The dealership’s exterior will be comprised of aluminum composite panels with high-end finishes incorporated throughout, while the interior will include walnut wall panels and brushed aluminum accents. The structural frameless glazing will also offer a high-end finish and a view into the showroom. The new 38,000 square foot Jaguar Land Rover dealership will be open for business in late 2019.

The Redmond Company has the pleasure to work with the Itasca Bank & Trust in redesigning their existing main office. The building in Itasca, Illinois, consists of two stories of retail lobby space with back of house administrative functions. Redmond used their expertise in financial institutions to observe a few deficiencies within the existing building.
With adjusting the interior space, Redmond was able to successfully achieve a more efficient space by cutting down on excess circulation space, and increase the safety of the individuals entering the building by relocating the main entrance. These two objectives provided the following: less blind spots within the retail space for better security, minimized circulation space which allowed future employee space, and increased retail curb presence by relocating the entrance.
The Redmond Company excels in providing financial institutions a design that will maximize employee safety, functionality, and retail presence, and Itasca Bank & Trust is an example of this expertise. Give us a call to see what we can do for you!
The Redmond Company has the pleasure to be working with the American Bank Center in designing a new 45,000 square foot administrative building with a retail lobby. The building in Dickinson, North Dakota, consists of a large lobby presence with approximately 16,000 square feet of customer facing lobby area. Redmond used their expertise in financial institutions to understand the needs of the bank and achieve a retail lobby space that would feel open and connected throughout the entire square footage.
Redmond was able to quickly provide the necessary design and budget documentation to American Bank Center to help receive approval to move the project forward. We achieved this with understanding the necessary steps required to move the process along quickly and filtering that information to the client with weekly meetings. We are continuing to work alongside a great American Bank Center team for the remaining design items.

The Redmond Company has completed over 20 projects for United Federal Credit Union. The Bible Way branch in Reno, Nevada will be an 8,000-square foot interior and exterior remodel with the design following the UFCU branding features. The project involves rebranding the current building’s exterior and interior, new remote drive-up, and teller pods. Construction is scheduled for completion in summer 2019.
Currently located in a shopping center strip mall, the owner of Riverside Automotive Group knew a new location was key to growing their business. Redmond was selected to assist the dealership with a new building on a property purchased down the road from their current site. The new corner property, along a major highway, gives high visibility to the three different brands of Riverside Auto: Honda, Nissan, and Toyota. Redmond’s services include the design/build of a new 36,000 square-foot facility and related site work on the 5-acre parcel. A challenge on this project was the time of year construction was scheduled to begin. Redmond solved this by separating the project design into two phases. The first design documents completed were for an early start package which included site work, concrete, masonry, and structural steel while the second package was the remainder of the building. This strategy expedited the start of the project and allowed Redmond to start the job two months earlier than the standard schedule. The two extra months gave Redmond time to get the building shell up before winter arrived, limiting the costs and difficulties of construction under winter conditions. Completion is scheduled for June 2019.
Johnson & Sons was prepared to grow their business and with the goals of making the dealership more economical and efficient, they selected The Redmond Company as their design/build partner. Redmond designed and is building a new 9,100 square-foot service addition that will expand the service bays from 6 to 12. The project also includes a 1,600 square-foot renovation of the service reception and service advisors area. This two-phase project will complete the new addition in December 2018 and the remodel in February 2019.
The Redmond Company has been selected to design and build Town Bank’s new state headquarters for commercial banking. The new Wintrust Financial Center is located in Downtown Milwaukee. This high-end, prestigious project was awarded by Town Bank and its parent company, Rosemont Illinois-based Wintrust Financial Corporation. Town Bank has more than 20 branches in Wisconsin and is the sixth-largest bank based in the state. This is the second project in a year that Town Bank has awarded to Redmond. The first was the design and construction of the new Racine branch, which was completed Mid-2018.
For the Wintrust Financial Center, Redmond will build-out the first and second floors of an existing office building at 731 North Jackson Street, Milwaukee. Renovations will total 19,000 square feet. The first floor of the building includes a fully remodeled atrium with a 2-story feature wall to brand the bank’s space. This all-glass structural vestibule was incorporated into the design to allow for the private entrance the bank desired, while still offering open views into the 2-story atrium for all visitors in the 9-story office building.
Additional features are sliding glass entrance doors that offer views from the atrium into the office areas and conference room, providing an open feel for the office space. The exterior windows in the private offices are also being widened to offer more expansive views and to allow daylight to penetrate further into the space. Technology features include a high-tech training room with a bar for entertaining, a large conference room with video conferencing, and collaborative media table areas for impromptu meetings.
UnitedOne Credit Union is committing to change and providing a better customer experience. Their new branch standard reflects that commitment and they have selected The Redmond Company to design and build their new branches – one on the north side and one on the south side of Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Redmond is implementing emerging technologies and design to support their commitment.
3 main objectives UnitedOne had and Redmond designed: replace ‘traditional’ teller staff with Personal Teller Machines (PTMs), make parking more convenient for members, and update to the ‘branch standard’ finishes and architectural look to match their new downtown Sheboygan branch.
Understanding the new trend in banking and technology and how to implement them within a retail setting was key. The primary technology included in the renovation are the PTMs. PTM’s allow a member to not only complete cash deposits and withdrawals but to also complete other transactions typically done at a teller window. These new machines facilitate live face-to-face interaction on the screen, letting the member ask questions and experience the personal service but it permits the bank to help customers at multiple locations by remote interaction.
Construction began in the Fall 2018 and is expected to be completed by Summer 2019.
The Redmond Company has been selected by Capital Credit Union to design and build a new high-tech, retail, branch in downtown Green Bay, Wisconsin.
The 1,700 square foot branch is designed to have a large presence in the community. To promote the credit union and bring members into the new space, an eye-catching digital marketing media wall will be located behind the teller pods. This wall will be seen from the street outside as well as within the fully-branded interior space. Other features of the branch will include member meeting booths with sliding glass doors to offer privacy, teller pods, iPad stations, and a comfortable lounge space with bench seating for more casual impromptu meetings with members.
Construction began in Fall 2018 and is expected to be completed in late 2018.
