Port Washington State Bank – Cedarburg

Cedarburg, Wisconsin, is consistently recognized by national magazines for its charm, festivals, and cultural offerings. With that type of attention, population growth can be expected. Port Washington State Bank (PWSB), located in the heart of Cedarburg, has experienced that growth firsthand with an expanding customer base.

PWSB partnered with The Redmond Company to design and manage the construction and renovation of the existing building, enhancing service for customers and supporting staff to accommodate the growth in the community.

The first floor will gain an 8,000-sf addition, creating space for a dedicated work room, two new offices, and a comfortable employee lounge. Two existing offices will be transformed into a modern conference room equipped with the latest audiovisual technology and seating up to 10 people.

The renovation will also include a new lobby check desk, upgraded, energy-efficient LED lighting throughout, a refreshing cold beverage center for customer convenience, and an expanded safe deposit box inventory to meet growing demand.

The redesigned branch prioritizes both customer experience and employee well-being. Customers will appreciate more privacy when consulting with their financial experts in newly designed private offices and enjoy a fresh, modern aesthetic look throughout the branch. The smallest of customers will enjoy upgrades planned for the kids’ corner to help them pass the time while visiting the bank.

PWSB’s commitment to exceptional customer care extends to their valued employees. The Redmond team is creating dedicated spaces to enhance their work experience, including new, conveniently located restrooms, a comfortable break room for relaxation, and a dedicated mother’s room. More space will also be added to the teller area so customer service representatives can work more efficiently.

This project underscores PWSB’s dedication to the Cedarburg community. The expanded and improved branch, scheduled for completion later this summer, will serve residents and businesses for years to come.
