Title Construction Project Coordinator
Job Information

Provide project management support for all departments. This position is full-time in our Waukesha office.

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Create and processing Subcontracts, Purchase Orders, Change Requests, and Change Orders with attachments
  • Create Design Consultant Contracts and Change Orders
  • Project set up in Sage
  • Creating and maintaining drawing logs
  • Generating Monthly Project Reports
  • Printing Resumes
  • Monthly Upload checks
  • Closeout
  • Submittals
    • Creating and maintaining log
    • Processing and distributing submittals
  • Back up Administrator for iSqFt
  • Bidding follow up
  • Answering the main phone line
  • Mail distribution
  • Create and maintain iSqFt during construction projects
  • Assist with creating/maintaining Subcontractor Lists
  • Assist with generating and shipping items
  • Generate hard copies of plans, specs, and other project information for project teams as needed

PREREQUISITES:

Education & Experience:

1 – 3 years office experience

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Typical Physical Demands:

Requires sitting, standing, bending and reaching. May require lifting up to 20 pounds.  Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, calculators, the telephone and other office equipment.  Requires normal range of hearing and vision.

Job Information

Responsibilities and Requirements:
– Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in administration of the project from inception through closeout
– Assist in procuring subcontractor bids and site walkthroughs
– Assist in subcontractor buy-out, qualification, selection, and contract creation
– Maintain and follow-up of all project related correspondence
– Prepare, monitor, and update project schedule in collaboration with Project Manager and Superintendent
– Review shop drawings, samples, catalog data in accordance with plans and specifications, scope, installation procedure, site consideration, and coordination between trades
– Prepare, review, expedite, and monitor logs for tracking submittals, RFIs, contract documents, change orders, and subcontractor applications for payment
– Assist in the weekly job meetings and generation and distribution of all meeting minutes
– Assist in the project closeout process, including the punch list, collection of closeout documentation, and submitting the close out package to the Owner

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:
– All experience levels in commercial building construction performing duties similar to this position’s requirements
– (4) year college degree (engineering, construction management)
– Assigned to either our principle office or to the Project Site depending on project requirements
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
