Earthmover Credit Union (ECU) is expanding its financial footprint with a new branch in Batavia, Illinois. This upcoming location will showcase ECU’s prototype branch design, developed by The Redmond Company, to align with their recent rebranding initiative.
Following successful renovations of four existing branches, this marks the first ground-up construction implementing the new prototype design. The building features a distinctive sloped clerestory roof with extensive glazing, bringing natural lighting deep into the lobby. Custom branded feature walls create a cohesive identity across all locations, while carefully selected acoustical elements, lighting fixtures, and interior materials reinforce the brand while creating a comfortable, memorable member experience.
The design prioritizes both member privacy and employee control, incorporating electronically controlled window shades manageable by branch employees, strategic acoustical features, including a custom wall logo, and lighting that adds privacy in designated lobby areas.
The Redmond Company helped ECU minimize risk early in the process through comprehensive pre-development services including soil testing, environmental assessments, and municipal approval guidance. Throughout the project, the Redmond team uses advanced 3D modeling and rendering technologies to provide clear visualization of the design intent, while detailed construction estimates at project milestones ensure the project is staying on budget and on schedule.
The final design will deliver a streamlined, efficient layout, optimizing staff performance while elevating the member experience.
