At The Redmond Company, we’re always focused on moving our clients construction projects to the next milestone. But sometimes, taking a step back can be just as valuable for driving progress. That’s what our team did when they paused from their typical day and recently visited a soon-to-be completed financial branch project.
Destined for the State Bank of Newburg, in Barton, near West Bend, Wisconsin, the Redmond team was eager to see the progress of their design-build project and gather insights to enhance future client endeavors.
The bank’s prominent corner lot location features a striking tiered retaining wall, which was strategically designed to address topography construction challenges. Generous windows, curved to highlight the view of the Milwaukee River, flood the lobby with natural light, while hydronic in-floor piping heat the floor, creating an inviting open atmosphere for customers throughout Wisconsin seasons. But it wasn’t just the physical space that impressed our team. The bank’s 100-year history, showcased in a glass display case at the entrance, demonstrate the bank’s deep connection to the local community—something we strive to foster in all our projects.
