08 May ASID Award – GOLD for State Bank of Newburg Project
The Redmond Company is proud to announce our design work for the State Bank of Newburg’s, Barton, WI branch has been honored with the Design Excellence Gold Award in the Financial Institutions category by the Wisconsin chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). This recognition celebrates our team’s innovative approach to creating spaces that blend modern functionality with deep community connections and an appreciation for local natural settings.
The award-winning 9,400-sf facility, completed in November 2024, features a striking curved design that mirrors the nearby Milwaukee River’s natural contours. The branch’s two-story, column-free lobby filled with natural light creates an inviting atmosphere for customers, while the custom feature wall behind the teller pods tells a visual story through a three-dimensional pattern transitioning from tree branches to woodgrain textures. Sustainable elements, including hydronic flooring as the primary heating source, demonstrate our commitment to energy-efficient design solutions that don’t compromise aesthetic appeal.
