Bank of Brodhead – Milton WI

Bank of Brodhead Milton renderingThe Redmond Company is excited to move to the construction phase of Bank of Brodhead’s new Milton branch after completing a thorough pre-design and planning process. Our comprehensive pre-construction consulting services involved property acquisition, planning and zoning approvals, including annexing the site into the City of Milton.  Ultimately, the strategically located site is being transformed into a 9,900-sf banking facility. As our second collaboration with Bank of Brodhead, this ground-up project leverages our expertise in site selection and regulatory navigation as well as site planning to create a prominent Highway 59 presence that supports the bank’s short-term expansion goals while planning for future growth.

The selected site offers excellent visibility along Highway 59, though its location presented unique access challenges. Our design team strategically positioned the building to avoid existing utilities while maximizing the bank’s presence along this high-traffic corridor. The site plan thoughtfully incorporates space for future expansion and includes additional green space that can be sold for future development.

The new branch will feature a striking two-story lobby with exposed glulam wood construction and full-height glass, flooding the interior with natural light. Throughout the space, which includes twelve offices, three lobby teller stations, and a community room, there are custom wallcoverings, murals, and digital media screens to provide distinctive branding elements, enhancing the customer experience and highlighting the lobby, kids’ area, and lounge spaces.

Acoustic wood accents deliver both aesthetic appeal and practical sound control, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. Employee amenities include a second-floor roof-deck retreat, while area residents’ benefit from a large community room available for events and after-hours meetings, complete with a separate entrance and accessible restrooms.

Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) in both the drive-through and lobby expand digital transaction options for customers while still enabling staff to focus on building meaningful relationships. The building also incorporates numerous sustainability features, including radiant in-floor heating for efficient environmental control, high-efficiency lighting with daylight and occupancy sensors, and an electric vehicle charging station.

The Redmond Company’s design/build approach combined with the comprehensive consulting services ensures this project will deliver a seamless blend of functionality, aesthetic appeal, and future-ready design that supports Bank of Brodhead’s continued success and community engagement.
