Dean Team Auto Hyundai – Chesterfield MO

A new 34,550‑sf Dean Team Auto Hyundai dealership in Chesterfield, Missouri is currently under construction on a site selected to support the owner’s continued growth and Hyundai’s updated Global Dealership Space Identity (GDSI) standards. The previous property could not accommodate the expanded service operations, showroom size, and customer amenities the owner planned for the next phase of the dealership’s development. With the new location secured, Dean Team Auto engaged The Redmond Company to design and build a facility that increases capacity, enhances customer experience, and establishes a prominent presence along Interstate 64.

During early planning, Redmond’s experience with Hyundai facilities helped the owner evaluate several building and site layouts. These studies clarified how each option would support daily operations and long‑term growth, allowing the owner to select a direction with confidence. Redmond also provided budget updates at key milestones, ensuring design decisions remained aligned with financial expectations. Ongoing coordination with Hyundai and the owner’s civil and landscape engineers continues to guide the project through brand, operational, and municipal requirements.

As construction progresses, the facility’s layout takes shape around efficient customer movement and streamlined employee workflow. The design connects the service reception, lounge, and showroom to create a clear path for guests. The service program, planned to include a 4‑car service reception area, 20 service bays, a full car wash, and 2 detail bays, is structured to support higher volumes with improved throughput. The enlarged showroom will double the size of the previous location and incorporate additional sales offices, a larger customer lounge with upgraded amenities, and a dedicated New Vehicle Delivery space. Redmond refined the floor plan to meet these goals while maintaining full compliance with Hyundai’s GDSI standards. The building’s orientation toward Interstate 64 is already establishing the visibility the owner sought.

This project reflects a collaborative partnership in which Redmond continues to guide the owner through site planning, brand requirements, and key design decisions as the dealership moves toward completion.
