Johnson Financial Group’s new 3,150‑sf branch in Pewaukee, Wisconsin will take shape on the site of a former gas station, transforming a high‑visibility location along a major thoroughfare into a purpose‑built facility that will better serve customers in an established market.

The project’s goal is to deliver a modern, accessible branch tailored to a tight site while incorporating amenities that enhance everyday service. Drawing from standards used in other recent JFG branches, The Redmond Company is adapting those elements to fit the location and scale the building appropriately.

Redmond’s architectural and construction approach is guiding the project from the outset. By contracting with design/build MEP consultants early, the team is helping JFG avoid coordination issues and cost changes later in construction. Redmond’s experience designing multiple JFG branches of varying sizes allows the team to refine the layout efficiently and ensure the selected scope aligns with operational needs and site constraints.

Inside the branch, Redmond’s design improves comfort and accessibility. The Cash Bar will feature a height‑adjustable transaction counter that supports both standing service and seated service for customers with disabilities, creating a flexible interaction point for staff and visitors. The customized site plan will also improve access and circulation, an important benefit given the branch’s position within a busy retail corridor.
