2025 Real Estate Award – Winner Johnson Financial Group

The Redmond Company is proud to announce our design for Johnson Financial Group’s West Milwaukee branch has won the Milwaukee Business Journal’s 2025 Real Estate Award, Retail/New Construction category. This recognition highlights our contribution to Johnson Financial Group’s vision and effort in helping transform a neighborhood with industrial roots into a thriving, diverse business community.

We are honored to share this distinction with Johnson Financial Group as their partner in designing their 4,500-sf full-service branch. The evolving West Milwaukee landscape influenced the architecture of the branch to support both operational efficiency and meaningful community engagement. Responding to Johnson Financial Group’s commitment to financial literacy and community growth, the facility features a dedicated space for educational seminars on vital topics like first-time home buying and savings strategies.

A distinctive element of this branch is its dual-entry design with one facing the street and another adjacent to the parking lot, which satisfies city ordinances while optimizing customer convenience. This approach eliminates the concept of a “back-side,” ensuring an aesthetic appeal from all angles. The customer-focused branch includes drive-through banking, dual ATM access, enhanced security measures, convenient off-street parking, and versatile space for community educational seminars.

This recognition celebrates Johnson Financial Group’s deep understanding of customer needs and their commitment to providing service-focused banking and community development opportunities,” said Andy Young, The Redmond Company VP of Operations. “As a long-time partner of Johnson Financial Group, we’re proud to share this honor that affirms our shared values of collaborative work, exceptional customer service, and strong community support.”

Thank you to the Milwaukee Business Journal for recognizing the projects and individuals shaping Southeast Wisconsin’s landscape. We’re proud to be among this distinguished group.
