Badger Globe Credit Union has transformed 7,400‑sf of its Neenah, WI branch to better utilize space and enhance member service while maintaining full operations throughout construction. The Redmond Company led this interior renovation, addressing critical accessibility needs and maximizing underutilized areas to create new amenities including collaboration zones, quiet rooms, and a dedicated mother’s room.

A unique design challenge for this project was creating a welcoming environment that will remain relevant even as the credit union’s branding evolves. The Redmond team developed a modern rustic design concept that feels both comfortable to existing members and appealing to new ones. Through close collaboration with the credit union’s leadership, the team implemented neutral and green color palettes with natural elements and textures that reflect the local Neenah area, ensuring a timeless design regardless of future branding decisions.

Community involvement is central to Badger Globe Credit Union’s mission, and The Redmond Company incorporated dedicated spaces that celebrate this commitment. The new design integrates community engagement into the coffee bar space within the waiting area through specialized shelving and TV monitors that promote local organization partnerships and donation efforts. A custom history wall showcases the credit union’s legacy through vintage postcards of the Neenah area, sourced with assistance from the local public library, a contribution the team greatly appreciated.

The renovation features distinctive curvilinear design elements throughout the space, from custom ceiling soffits to millwork and graphics. A striking teller line now includes waterfall edges with natural quartz materials set against an eye‑catching stacked stone backdrop. Wood panels in the conference room create a serene atmosphere for meetings. These materials create a sophisticated, professional setting that aligns with the credit union’s connection to the surrounding environment.

Managing a live remodel required exceptional coordination and communication. Redmond delivered this through its proven design/build approach. Credit union staff and members experienced a carefully phased construction schedule with minimal disruptions to daily operations and member interactions. Redmond’s commitment to transparency and frequent communication allowed Badger Globe Credit Union to remain focused on serving their community while Redmond handled the complexities of construction. Ultimately, the project delivered enhanced security systems, improved accessibility, and optimized space utilization that positions Badger Globe Credit Union for continued growth and community impact.
