The Redmond Company is providing both architectural design and construction services to renovate the 5,000‑sf Edwards Mitsubishi dealership in Council Bluffs, Iowa. This renovation is also being executed alongside Redmond’s nearby Edwards Nissan project to increase efficiency and reduce overall project cost.
Changes to the single-level facility focus on modernizing it to align with Mitsubishi’s latest aesthetic and operational requirements while maintaining strict cost control and brand consistency. Redmond guided the client early in the process to ensure all design decisions matched the specific manufacturer’s current brand standards. To keep design and budget aligned, Redmond coordinates clear communications including online meetings with the client, design team, and construction team to accelerate key decisions and maintain project clarity.
The refreshed interior introduces Mitsubishi’s modern palette of gray, off‑white, and black, creating a clean, elevated look throughout the showroom and customer‑facing spaces. New office furniture provides employees with a more organized and contemporary workspace.
Operational improvements include expanded showroom capacity through the removal of select offices and a more intuitive customer path created by the relocated lounge updated with new furniture to improve comfort and flow and increase customer traffic.
