15 Jun UFCU Fletcher Groundbreaking Ceremony
The Redmond Company was pleased to participate in the ground breaking ceremony for United Federal Credit Union’s (UFCU) new 6,400-square foot branch at 3674 Hendersonville Road, Fletcher, North Carolina. On hand to see the plans unveiled were community leaders, dignitaries, and the media. When complete, the $1.5-million project will offer Fletcher residents added convenience and more banking choices.
The Redmond Company was selected for design and construction of this facility.
The new and enhanced facility will be full-service, including multiple drive-thru lanes, an ATM, safe deposit boxes, an expanded Member Service area, and a community meeting room. It will employ nine initially, including staff from the previous location.
“The new branch will also offer the services of a mortgage loan officer and business service advisor in one convenient location,” said UFCU Vice President of Member Relations/North Carolina Lee Beason.
“Members and the entire community will have greater access to low-cost financial services,” continued Beason. “It will encourage the revitalization that Fletcher has welcomed over the last several years.”
More than 125 individuals attended the event, including Fletcher Mayor Pro-Tem Eddie Henderson and Chamber Executive Director Bob Williford. Both praised UFCU for its expansion and service to Members and shared other examples of Fletcher growth initiatives.
UFCU Branch Manager Steve Clark reaffirmed the sentiments offered by Moore and Williford. “We’re excited to see our new Fletcher branch take shape. It will offer an enhanced banking experience for Members and promote regional growth.”
