The Redmond Company is looking for a self-starting and highly motivated individual who has a positive attitude, excellent attention to detail and disciplined work habits to join our Marketing team as a full-time Senior Marketing Specialist. This role necessitates the ability to wear many hats and prioritize moving pieces. This new team member needs to be detail-orientated, organized, not afraid to ask questions, and have a drive to take ownership of their responsibilities.
You will help run the day-to-day marketing operations and drive business growth by crafting winning marketing pieces and overseeing multimedia storytelling.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing compelling custom content and developing visuals/infographics. You will develop content and material for the website, case studies, articles, award submissions, and other marketing material.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with conventions, presentation material, updating marketing booklets, script and video creation, website design updates, and coordinating and implementing efforts for custom jobsite signage, client gifts, project photography, and other promotional assets.
Note - this is not a social media or digital marketing position.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5-10+ years in marketing, with specific experience in the Construction or A/E/C (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry is ideal
- Software: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign), MS office, and CRM software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Extensive experience with convention organization and travel preparation
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Experience coordinating events and vendor relationships
- A strong design eye and layout and confidence working with branded templates
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
