Earthmover Credit Union’s Yorkville, Illinois branch is the first to showcase the new design elements of their recent rebranding initiative. The goal of the rebranding is to modernize branches, enhance the member experience, and solidify their image as a trusted financial partner.
The Redmond Company, chosen for their design/build expertise, tackled the challenge of renovating Yorkville and Aurora, Illinois branches concurrently, implementing a multi-phased approach to maintain branch operations as much as possible. As a design/build firm serving as the single source for Earthmover’s renovations, the Redmond team streamlined communications and the timeliness of information. Additionally, the team facilitated decision-making by providing 3D renderings and visual assets to clearly articulate design intentions, saving time and money.
Plans for the 4,000-sf Yorkville branch renovation feature energy-efficient upgrades like motion sensors for lighting control. Small alcoves will be repurposed and lined with acoustic panels in brand colors to absorb noise from coin counters, while large-scale pendant lights with acoustic properties will highlight key areas of the lobby and create a visually striking entrance feature. Acoustic panels cut in the shape of Earthmover’s logo will be incorporated throughout the space and custom signage, including a logo tackboard for community postings, building signage, and a custom vinyl wall graphic versatile enough to work at future locations, further solidify the brand identity. The exterior features a slanted roof, a signature element unifying Earthmover branches across locations.
The Redmond Company continues collaborating with Earthmover on additional renovations and new branch projects, ensuring a consistent, modern experience for members and staff, while differentiating Earthmover Credit Union’s position in the market.
