This project was set on a four-month, fast-tracked schedule. There were multiple buildings on this site and during the excavation process we encountered some buried brick basements filled with rubble, as well as an old storm sewer which was removed. The team found several layers of asphalt and concrete paving under what was formerly a grocery store. This was excavated to accommodate the new Walgreens. The addition of a NAPA store on the same site created challenging staging issues on the site. The Redmond team was able to overcome all these unforeseen circumstances and completed the project on schedule.
