This project involved relocating a very successful area Walgreens which had limited parking. The store was built through winter because of the length of time it took to remove the contaminated soils that were left from the previous auto maintenance shop. Just when the project was wrapping up, and Walgreens was preparing to move in, the church next door burned down. The opening of the store was delayed because the remaining church steeple posed a safety hazard. Except for soot, there was no damage to the store. Walgreens moved in and the location was a huge success.
