Redmond was selected to provide a new branch design for Veridian Credit Union’s entrance into the Omaha / Council Bluffs market. This branch in Papillion is the second branch to be completed, following the recently-opened Council Bluffs location.
The new 5,100-square foot branch design incorporates Veridian’s goal of sustainability through its extensive use of glass for daylighting and its expansive wood branding wall that transitions from the exterior into the interior space. The sweeping butterfly roof and curtain wall exterior invites passersby to view inside to Veridian’s lobby activity and marketing.
The Papillion branch is part of a larger development effort of the neighborhood. The Redmond team worked with the developer and the City of Omaha to fit Veridian’s prototype within the constraints of the site agreement.
