The TBA Credit Union chose The Redmond Company to design and build a unique lodge credit union facility to fit in with the northwoods feel of the Traverse City, Michigan community. Totaling 6,500 sf, the new ground-up building features exposed wood beams, wood decking in the lobby, traditional prairie fieldstone, and substantial timber columns supporting the exterior covered areas.

The leadership at TBA Credit Union selected The Redmond Company for their proven ability to provide high-quality design and construction, and for their superior knowledge of cost-saving opportunities. For example, in keeping with the northwoods look of the credit union lodge, The Redmond Company was able to procure wood log veneers to provide the desired rustic look at a fraction of the price of solid logs.

The TBA Credit Union offers lending services for automobiles and recreational vehicles and equipment, such as boats. An unconventional design was implemented into the building to allow these vehicles to be brought into an interior display area of the lobby through an extra-large window, providing an eye-catching way for the credit union to promote these services.
