Palmer Bank selected The Redmond Company as its partner for the planning, design and construction of a new main office facility. Located on a high-traffic, signature intersection in Taylorville, Illinois, Palmer Bank sought a timeless design that would visually represent its strength and stability to the community. Redmond’s design team blended extensive detailing and profiling of the metal roof with a masonry façade to create an attractive prairie-style look. The 11,800 sf building features high-bay ceilings, earth-tone materials, a curtainwall entry system to allow daylight into the lobby, a geothermal heating/cooling system, and state of the art security systems. The signature metal roof design was also featured as a case-study in a national trade magazine for its innovative use and detailing.
