A repeat client’s reimagined bank branch designed for the digital age while remaining focused on personalized customer service and operational efficiency.

Prevail Bank chose The Redmond Company for their third branch renovation in central Wisconsin, updating their Stevens Point location. The project aimed to accommodate the bank’s additional amenities, refresh branding, and provide more offices for the growing staff.

The Redmond team presented multiple design options that maintained existing wood elements while achieving the desired aesthetics. This approach proved cost effective and facilitated decisions for future branch renovations.

A key priority was keeping the bank operational throughout construction, especially the drive-through. Redmond developed a sequencing plan to work on the drive-through during off-hours, ensuring uninterrupted service for customers and staff.

The 5,400-sf renovation included remodeling lending offices and teller stations, while adding office space. The new layout improves efficiency by placing teller stations near drive-up services, enhancing staff productivity and customer response times.

Reflecting the evolving design of financial institutions, the branch now focuses on expert advice and problem solving in addition to customer transactional needs. For example, a new “tech center” offers personalized assistance with online and mobile banking, supporting customers in adopting digital services for greater convenience.

Prevail Bank chose Redmond’s design/build expertise to streamline the renovation process, eliminating coordination challenges between separate architects and contractors.  The result was an inviting, updated branch, elevating the customer’s experience, and enveloping the customer in the brand promise.
