PROJECT AWARD: Silver Design Excellence Award in the Office/Corporate 15,000-34,999 sf category by ASID Wisconsin

The Redmond Company was selected to design and build Town Bank’s new state headquarters for commercial banking. The new Wintrust Financial Center is located in Downtown Milwaukee.

This high-end, prestigious project is a build-out of the first and second floors of an existing office building at 731 North Jackson Street, Milwaukee. Renovations total 19,000 sf. The first floor of the building includes a fully remodeled atrium with a two-story feature wall to brand the bank’s space.  This all-glass structural vestibule was incorporated into the design to allow for the private entrance the bank desired, while still offering open views into the two-story atrium for all visitors in the nine-story office building.

Additional features are sliding glass entrance doors that offer views from the atrium into the office areas and conference room, providing an open feel for the office space.  The exterior windows in the private offices are also being widened to offer more expansive views and to allow daylight to penetrate further into the space. Technology features include a high-tech training room with a bar for entertaining, a large conference room with video conferencing, and collaborative media table areas for impromptu meetings.

This is the second project that Town Bank awarded to Redmond this year. The first was the design and construction of their new branch in Racine, WI.
